GPF 12.0 Attendee List

We plan to open GPF 13.0 registration on December 1 2017, probably around Noon Pacific Time

Appropriate GPF Attendees

  1. Decision makers for interconnection activities representing an organization with one or more AS Numbers that actively exchanges traffic under its control
  2. Technical staff, technical product managers, and non-sales executives for interconnection service providers (e.g. Internet Exchange, cross connects, optical exchange platforms) at an organization actively serving the needs of interconnection participants
  3. Sponsor attendees per sponsorship agreements
  4. GPF board members, event staff, and invited speakers

To provide context, the GPF team attempts to ensure that every attendee adds value to the collective and unique nature of GPF events. To this extent, we have found in the past that the activities of those in roles involving sales, account management, business development, consulting services, product marketing, or similar non-operational roles are not appropriate GPF attendees. Similarly, someone who only maintains a route server as opposed to maintaining broader Internet Exchange infrastructure is not appropriate.  The GPF Attendance Charter is available for review.

Based on feedback from past events, we limit organizations (defined as those operating one or more ASNs with a distinct interconnection policy) to a maximum of two (2) attendees but will consider additional attendees for those who have specific regional representatives. It is helpful to other attendees, and to the GPF Board in considering where more than two attendees would be appropriate, if attendees indicate regional involvement in their registration such as “MTV Networks – EMEA”.

The GPF 13.0 Registration fee is $300 if paid before Friday March 9 at 17:00 Pacific and $600 after that time due to financial commitments with the event venues. Your registration confirmation will include a personalized link to pay with a credit card. Similarly, the GPF 13.0 refund policy is 75% for cancellations received at info [@] peeringforum {dot} com by the March 9 deadline and 0% thereafter.
